SO, WHY DO CHURCHES NEED SECURITY?
We are never asked this question anymore. Instead, we’re now being asked how? We know it’s necessary, but how do we put security teams in place and where do we begin?
So many pastors and leaders are searching for direction on how to create safe environments for their community. The lack of information has lead many churches to make well intended decisions, such as having congregation members with CWPs armed during services, but this could potentially be disastrous. There are much better ways of keeping everyone safe while reducing the liability of the church or its members should a situation occur.
FROM A SOFT TARGET TO A SAFE HOUSE
Safe House Security and Consulting was founded to effectively dissolve the label of “soft target” amongst churches. After more than ten years of serving many of the world’s most well known pastors, speakers, politicians, and athletes, we understand how to intentionally serve others using our knowledge and experience in safety and security. In fact, we believe it is imperative to align every measure of security with the heart and vision of the church. This is what allows us to teach unsettling topics peacefully, without wavering on the safety and security necessary to reposition churches from being a soft target to a Safe House.
