Cromar Protect 1F is a non-vapour-permeable (non-breather) membrane designed for use beneath slated and tiled pitched roofs. This high-performance underlay complies with BS5250:2021 standards, requiring appropriate ventilation, and should be installed following BS5534:2018 guidelines. It acts as an effective secondary barrier, preventing dust, rain, and snow from entering the roof void and offering temporary protection for up to three months before the primary barrier (slates or tiles) is installed. Lightweight and easy to handle, the membrane comes in a convenient roll size of 45m x 1m, simplifying transportation and installation.
