Description
ARDEX X 7001 /ARDEX X 7001W is a grey or white, MICROTEC fibre-reinforced, rapid hardening and drying flexible cement-based floor tile adhesive. It is designed for use on wood-based sheets, boards, and other surfaces, making it ideal for internal applications such as fixing floor tiles and tile backer boards. The built-in fibres help minimize the risk of cracking over board joints in the event of timber movement, while its pourable consistency enables solid bedding of tiles without back-buttering. Classified under BS EN 12004 C2 FE as an “improved cementitious adhesive with extended open time,” ARDEX X 7001/ARDEX X 7001W allows for grouting to commence just two hours after application and is particularly suited for moisture-sensitive natural and agglomerated stones.

Coverage: A 20kg bag of ARDEX X 7001/ARDEX X 7001W will yield approximately 14.4 litres of mortar, covering around 4.8m² at a 3mm adhesive bed thickness. For each millimetre of bed thickness, around 1.4kg of powder is required per square metre.
Storage and Shelf Life: ARDEX X 7001/ARDEX X 7001W should be stored in unopened packaging, off the ground, in cool and dry conditions, and protected from excessive drafts. When stored correctly, the product has a shelf life of 12 months from the date printed on the packaging.
