Charcoal swab test how to use?
1. Preparation – Use a clean, flat surface on which to place the parts of the pack.
2. Opening the pack – Start to gently open the swab packet. Only enough to show the top of the sample tube and the black swab.
3. Removing the sample tube – Now remove the plastic sample tube. Make sure to leave the swab in the packaging
4. Removing the lid – Firmly hold the tube and remove the white lid. Make sure to discard the lid after removal.
5. Taking the swab – You are now ready to take the swab. Remove the swab from the packaging and hold it by the black handle. Make sure not to touch the cotton bud end. Insert the cotton bud end 6 cm into your vagina and rotate for 10 seconds.
6. Placing in sample tube – After 10 the second are up, remove and slide the swab into the plastic tube.
7. Closing and labelling – Make sure the lid is firmly on. Wash your hands and gently stick on the correct label (lengthways). Try not to wrinkle the bar code.
