EthyCalm Plus Vapo-Coolant Spray

Needles need EthyCalm. EthyCalm Plus is a fast-acting vapo-coolant spray designed to provide temporary skin anaesthesia during minor procedures. The rapid evaporation produces a local freezing effect, making it ideal for venepuncture, microchip placement, tick removal, venous catheterisation and a wide range of veterinary or clinical applications.

How to Use

• Apply immediately prior to the intended procedure.
• Hold the vial inverted over the skin, at approximately 20 cm distance.
• Spray for 6–8 seconds until a thin snow film forms.
• Alternatively, spray onto a swab for 8 seconds and wipe the site slowly 3–4 times.

Precautions

• Do not spray on open wounds.
• Avoid prolonged application to prevent overcooling of the skin.
• Use only in a well-ventilated area.
• Do not inhale vapours or allow contact with eyes.
• Wear PPE as required.
• Pressurised container: do not pierce or burn, even after use.
• Protect from direct sunlight and temperatures exceeding 50 °C.
• Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, or hot surfaces.
• Keep out of reach of children.
