Description
INCI: Cyclopentasiloxane
Cyclopentasiloxane is a clear, odorless, silicone-based oil that is incredibly useful and versatile in bath and body recipes. This is a direct replacement for Cyclomethicone.
Perfect as a carrier, it can provide a silky and soft feel to your products, and can improve dispersement qualities of fragrance oils.
Perfect for antiperspirants, deodorants, hair care, skin care and perfumes. It also works well as a room spray base, simply add your fragrance at 5-20% dependent on the IFRA recommendation.
When making cosmetics or toiletries, this ingredients must not be used above 0.1% in rinse off products.
Disclaimer: Due to the regulatory restrictions by REACH, this product must not be poured down the sink and must be disposed of in general waste, unless below the 0.1% usage rate.
Recommended use levels:
Antiperspirants, deodorants: 3 – 10%.
Hair care: 1 – 5% Skin care: 3 – 10%.
Perfumes: 0.5 – 3%.
